Kayo Stadium is a multi-purpose rectangular stadium situated in Redcliffe, a northern Brisbane suburb.
The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 and is owned by the Redcliffe Dolphins Rugby League Club, which joined the NRL in 2023.
The venue has also been the long-time home of the QLD Cup.
In addition to rugby league, the stadium also hosts football matches, with the Brisbane Roar relocating to the stadium full-time starting from the 2020/21 A-League season.
About the Stadium
The stadium, which first opened in 1979, has undergone significant upgrades in recent years.
Its western grandstand was replaced with a new 3,500-seat stand in mid-2016, followed by a new eastern grandstand in mid-2018, bringing the seating capacity up to 7,000.
The Dolphins Academy and dressing room facilities were also upgraded, and stage 3 was completed in September 2020, adding a new northern grandstand, change rooms and a second video screen.
With grandstand seating for 8975 spectators, 445 corporate seats and some standing room, the stadium now has a total capacity of around 10,000. Plans for the future include the addition of broadcast-quality lighting.
Kayo Stadium will host a minimum of three NRL Premiership home games for the Dolphins starting in 2023, with most of their home games played at Suncorp Stadium.
During Covid, the venue hosted several NRL games featuring the NZ Warriors as the home team.
Many other teams also played pre-season games at Kayo Stadium, while Queensland Cup Grand Finals and Brisbane Roar A-League and W-League matches took place there.
Naming Rights
When the stadium was opened in 1979 there were calls to name it the Don McLennan Oval after a prominent member of the club. However, he requested it be called the Dolphin Oval instead.
The stadium was later known as Dolphin Stadium, before being renamed the Moreton Daily Stadium in 2014.
In December 2022, it was changed again to the Kayo Stadium after a deal with the streaming service owned by Foxtel.

How to get to the stadium
You have several options to get to Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe to watch a match.
You can take the M1 highway north from Brisbane and exit at Anzac Avenue towards Redcliffe if you’re driving. Follow Anzac Avenue until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Klingner Road, then continue straight on Anzac Avenue for about 2 kilometres until you reach the stadium on your right.
If you prefer public transport, you can catch a train from Brisbane Central Station to Kippa-Ring Station on the Redcliffe Peninsula Line. From there, you can walk, take a taxi, or ride a ride to the stadium.
Walking from Kippa-Ring Station to the stadium along Anzac Avenue will take approximately 25 minutes. Alternatively, you can always catch a taxi or Uber to the ground.

The suburb of Redcliffe has no shortage of pubs for you to enjoy a drink at before or after the game.
One of the most popular of them is the Mon Komo Hotel. It is located along the waterfront and offers stunning views of Moreton Bay. With its stylish decor, relaxed ambiance and a selection of craft beers, wines and cocktails, this popular pub is a favourite among sports fans.
Another good option is The Belvedere Hotel. It is an historic pub that dates back to the early 1900s and is situated just steps away from Suttons Beach. Whilst there you can enjoy a refreshing drink on their
